At any given time there are between 20 to 30 homeless children
who are staying at the Big Bend Homeless Coalition.
Hi! "Sew for HOPE" is a group of caring
individuals who will be meeting once a month to make http://www.sewforhopenow.com/?page_id=1415 and blankets for
Tallahassee's homeless children. We would also love to receive donations of
handmade http://www.sewforhopenow.com/?page_id=1415 and blankets from caring individuals who love to sew (quilt,
knit, crochet, etc), but who cannot meet with us at
Big Bend Homeless Coalition.
Of course donations of purchased blankets are also appreciated and will be put
to good use.

Wish List - scissors, fabric (cotton,
flannel, polar fleece, etc), sewing machines, and basic sewing supplies.
Tuesday, October 14, 2008 from 1 - 5 pm, Cynthia, and a few dear friends, will
be at the Homeless Coalition to get the ball rolling and accept donations.
Directions - Drive west on
Tennessee Street, turn
left onto
Appleyard, cross Pensacola, take
the first left onto
Municipal Way, pass the jail on the
right, look for a small sign by the entrance on
the left that says "Tallahassee Coalition for the Homeless".
Administration building is last building
on right (brick). You must go to the
administration building for a visitors pass.
